Loved You Since I Was Young Lyrics by good problem

Everything’s Shifting

2022

[Intro]
Holding our breath
We kissed underwater
And went outta sight from my parents
You were the sky and I was a martyr
[Chorus]
I loved you since I was young
I loved you since I was young
I loved you since I was young
[Verse 1]
Telling you stories under the bleachers
And we swore we’d never grow up
We look out the window touching our sneakers
Under the plastic seats on the bus
And now your studio apartment’s on the west side of LA
And I bumped into you at some actor’s loft in the South Bay
[Pre-Chorus]
Please don’t lose touch
We mean too much
[Chorus]
I loved you since I was young
I loved you since I was young
I loved you since I was young
I loved you since I was young
I loved you since I was young
[Verse 2]
Are cocaine and cafes all that you are now?
Remember the playground next to your mom’s house?
It seems like you go through the motions
You’re hopeful and hopeless
All packed up in one big mess
Remember we once let our guard down?
[Pre-Chorus]
Please don’t lose touch
We mean too much
[Chorus]
I loved you since I was young
I loved you since I was young
I loved you since I was young
I loved you since I was young
[Outro]
But now I just feel sorta dumb
I loved you since I was young
