Medicine Lyrics by Grotus

Slow Motion Apocalypse

1993

[Verse 1]
Sharp black lines cut deep across
The gray ring's fat swollen growth
Breathless dry hack ashen-faced
The sick patient wheezing low
It looks like nothing so much as a cancer
As seen from above, dividing and spreading
The pace is quickening
The toll it's taking under my hand
[Chorus]
Round and round and round and round and round
Round and round and round and round and round
Round and round and round and round and round (Medicine)
Round and round and round and round and round
Round and round and round and round and round
Round and round and round and round and round
Round and round and round and round and round (Medicine)
Round and round and round and round and round
[Verse 2]
Dry hot red drained pock-marked
It keeps going but it's deadly thin
Can't quite root out the cause but
You know what the number one suspect is
We look like nothing so much as a cancer
As seen from above, dividing and spreading
The pace is quickening
The toll it's taking undеr my hand
[Chorus]
Round and round and round and round and round
Round and round and round and round and round
Round and round and round and round and round (Medicine)
Round and round and round and round and round
Round and round and round and round and round
Round and round and round and round and round
Round and round and round and round and round (Medicinе)
Round and round and round and round and round
