Outside In the Rain Lyrics by Gwen Guthrie

Good To Go Lover

1986

[Intro]
Outside in the rain
Yeah, baby
In the rain, you and I, make sweet love
I’m, I’ma make it
I’m, I’ma make it (I wanna make it with you, baby)
I’m, I’ma make it
I’m, I’ma make it
Hold me, love me
Hold me, love me, love me
Hold me, love me
Hold me, love me
Oh, oh, such a lovely feeling
Oh, oh, such a lovely feeling (Sweet baby)
[Chorus]
Outside in the rain
Let’s make love out in the rain all night
Outside in the rain
Make sweet love out in the rain all night
[Verse 1]
It’s summertime and the feeling’s right
As sweet rain falls out in the night
Darling, don’t go in, let’s stay outside
I wanna make love while the feeling’s right
[Refrain]
Hold me, love me
[Chorus]
Outside in the rain
Let’s make love out in the rain all night
Outside in the rain
Make sweet love out in the rain all night
[Verse 2]
Cozy, all alone, just you and I
You’re in the mood—it’s in your eyes
Darling, don’t go in, let’s stay outside
I wanna make love while the feeling’s right
[Refrain]
Hold me, love me
I’m, I’ma make it
I’m, I’ma make it
I’m, I’ma make it
I’m, I’ma make it
Such a lovely feeling
[Chorus]
Outside in the rain
Let’s make love out in the rain all night
Outside in the rain
Make sweet love out in the rain all night, all night
Outside in the rain
Let’s make love out in the rain all night
Outside in the rain
Make sweet love out in the rain all night, all night
[Refrain]
I’m, I’ma make it
I’m, I’ma make it
I’m, I’ma make it
I’m, I’ma make it
I’m, I’ma make it
Hold me, love me
Hold me, love me, love me
Hold me, love me
Hold me, love me
[Chorus]
Outside in the rain
Let’s make love out in the rain all night
Outside in the rain
Make sweet love out in the rain all night, all night
Outside in the rain
Let’s make love out in the rain all night
Outside in the rain
Make sweet love out in the rain all night
Outside in the rain
[Outro]
Yeah baby, in the rain
You and I, make sweet love
