Learn to Grow Lyrics by Asher Roth

The Greenhouse Effect Vol. 3

2021

[Verse: Tracee Shade, Harbyn, & Ishaboipow]
Ayo, any of y'all even grabbed the syllabus and read it?
I mean granted, I don't even think I even need this credit, you know what I mean?
Like for real, an intro class this early in the day
I can't believe I stayed in, what the hell was he saying?
Wait, hold up fellas, it really wasn't that bad
(Bruh) For real, not even the worst class I've had
Plus there's no way he doesn't smoke pot (What?)
Long hair, horticulture, the Birkenstocks
You know I think I saw him in the parking lot
(Doing what exactly?) Selling pot to thе jocks
I mean I guess I see your point, but still I'm a human being, dog
Last timе I recall I got my own freewill
Wait, don't you see?
We could apply this type of knowledge and grow a different type of tree
Well let's think about this
Horticulture? I don't even like plants
And the soil full of rubble and a bunch of little ants
I don't think you're really getting it, it's more than just you and me
We have to leave a better legacy for when we all leave
He's kind of right, we gotta help our mother Earth
We should learn to grow instead of stealing out her purse
Stealing out her? Man, I really ain't got time for this sh-
Hold up, hold up, give it a chance, see if it fits
Worst case it's as simple as a drop
But let's just take a second and take a walk to the greenhouse we got it
Wait-wait, a house full of greens
Let's not be drama queens, there's clearly something to be seen
Okay, okay, okay, I won't pout, let's see what it's about
But if I see poison ivy then this kid is out
[Outro Skit: Harbyn, Tracee Shade, & Ishaboipow]
Mate, just go and ask him
Uhh, for what?
What you mean why-why not?
Yo, I don't even wanna be here. Pow, you do it
So you guys think that won't be disrespectful?
Bro, have you seen the Prof.? He's not gonna care
Alright, alright, alright, okay, okay, okay
Hey, uh, professor, you think that you could teach us how to grow pot?
