It's always held me back, uh, so now when people offer up their opinion, it's more like, "Which car should I drive? Which Rolex should I wear?"
Because, it's really just laughing in the face of that, um, of that mentality
It's more like, "Ayy, I know what I'm doing, this is the vision, and this is when I'm putting it out"
You can't ask people their opinion on your vision because only you know your vision and only you can show them that
So, uh, this song is like my graduation in a sense
Like, "Alright, I don't need any more opinions, I know what I'm doing, I know what I sound like, I know what I wanna say to the world"
