I wonder how can I top the last poem I wrote
How can I stop myself from going broke?
Will I reach the fortune and the fame?
Was I put here to teach and entertain?
Why do bustas who got nothing to say
Get played on the radio fifty times a day?
What is the message that we send our kids?
When will we pay for the things that we did?
Dear Lord will I be forgiven for my sins?
I don't ask why will I die, I ask when?
And I'm tired of the strain and all of the pain
Reality sometimes makes me go insane
So I wonder how can I improve on my poetry
Should I write about this insanity?
Or should I paint a perfect picture?
Stay true, or say things that make me richer?
By writing down what you want to hear?
Or say the things that other poets fear
To talk about afraid of the infamy
They don't give trophies for this type of poetry

I wonder how can I top the last verse I wrote
Will satan find someone else to slice my throat?
What will the judge have for me in the end?
As he looks through my life of sin
Will I be condemned for blasphemy?
Express my right to freedom of speech
Is there a limit to what I can say?
Or will I still be forgiven if I pray?
Can someone tell me what's the prophecy?
Are my own dreams going to be the death of me?
Am I wrong for desiring to be a legend?
I'm writing raps and poetry full of lessons
So I wonder if I should try to improve my poetry
By writing what society tells me
How else will I receive any recognition?
If I don't have money for my vision
So should I paint a perfect picture?
Stay true or say things that will make me richer?
If I change for you it won't be my own identity
Hopefully one day you will accept my poetry
