School can be scary
This, being something in the style of a time capsule
Is something I will look back on in September and miss dearly
It's sad being in school and having to do something that you
Know is only going to prohibit you from flourishing to the extent
You know you can flourish to. But maybe I can stand it. But what about everyone else? Your lover, family situation? What will become of it? I can't just make music to "escape", or put my feelings into music. My feelings always feel fabricatеd, cut from the cloth of people who havе been successful. But that referential and meta-critical style of genre, style of music, worked for The 1975, for Radiohead. Is it too early to make a new relatable generational statement? That isn't for me to decide. I can have the idea, and pick apples from other bands to incorporate into my own work, but I can't decide whether or not it will become something, whether I will become something, God forbid
It feels cheesy, writing such things; having to think them up especially. Perhaps other musicians feel like this, but I have little contact to that world. 2023 will hopefully be the year I've escaped how I feel about education, in one way or another, against all odds. Whoever is with me in this boat, give your future self a wave
