I nеver asked to be thе black sheep that’s almost like saying I asked to be dropped in a particular environment on purpose” says the now Los Angeles - based artist/producer who is now gaining a growing fan base all across the world for his style, personality and take on LA’s “Nervous Music” sound

Weaving elements of hip hop, R&B, and influences from his culturally diverse background his music tells a story unique to him and his journey in an industry that is oversaturated. From recording people in a garage to writing for AKON to becoming the face of the Indians on the west coast “ILLAH” from Compton, CA is slowly now becoming a force to be reckoned with without a major record deal or even major co-signs. ILLAH, who also goes by the handle @indiasonly, grew up in an environment quite culturally unlike what one would typically see in his videos but it wasn’t until he moved to Los Angeles, CA in 2014 that he experienced the real culture shock that molded him into the artist he is today

His latest Single “Blessed” features a video appearance from fellow Compton, CA artist Wallie The Sensei whose hit song “Scandalous” and Tik Tok Anthem “03 Flow” has over 14 million views. The hard-hitting track is accompanied by a cinematic visual shot at ILLAH’s meet and greet where you can see Wallie enjoying himself alongside many others including supporters and fans. You see ILLAH taking pictures with fans and a crowd that sings along word by word to “Blessed. “I always knew I’d be something as a kid. I just didn’t know who or what.” says The 25-year-old artist/producer
