Dont let go Lyrics by Insomniac

2023

[Chorus]
I need you to hold me close
Love hurt me, yeah my chest has a hole
Heart got broken so long ago
Promise me that you won’t let go
[Verse 1]
Heart got cold ever since that day, been slitting my wrists, no I’m not okay
Thinking ‘bout her too much drives me insane, then I get too high, wait what’s her name?
Let her have my heart, thought it was okay, ‘till she took that shit and she made it break
Gave me her heart too, it was okay, ‘till I found out later on it was full of mistakes
Regret being with her all of thе time, wish I could get back all of my lost time
Rеgret spending on her all of the time, wish I could get back all of my lost dimes
2021 was a hell of a time, that’s when you taught me you can make a man cry
Picked up bad habits, now I get high, my lights going dim, will I die tonight?
[Chorus]
I need you to hold me close
Love hurt me, yeah my chest has a hole
Heart got broken so long ago
Promise me that you won’t let go
[Verse 2]
Need you to promise you won’t let go, ‘cause my heart is all yours, just lettin’ you know
Just wanna let you know that I love you so, and if you try to leave, I’m not letting you go
I’m crazy for you girl, don’t you know, I’d kill for you, no one has to know
Try to leave, don’t think so, I’ll kill you, if you go
Heartbreak really drives me insane, I mean can’t you see that I’m not okay
People looking at me like I’m deranged, I just want love, isn’t that okay?
I need your love
Blessing sent from above
[Chorus]
I need you to hold me close
Love hurt me, yeah my chest has a hole
Heart got broken so long ago
Promise me that you won’t let go
[Outro]
Please, please, hold me closer
I just need closure
Please, please come closer
I need, need to keep my composure
