Think back when you were a little kid. What was the one thing you wanted to be? As a girl you probably wanted to be a princess. I don’t know why you wouldn’t be a queen, but I know that almost every boy wants to be a superhero. That’s all I wanted to be when I was younger.
Luke skywalker was not only a hero he was an epic hero. An epic hero is a hero that follows 13 steps to become a hero in the first place but also finishes the quest. The first two steps deals with the average day works and then he/she gets called to adventure. Next is assistance, departure, trails approach, the devastating crisis, which for Luke is going up against darth Vader, treasure, result, return, new life, and last but not least resolution.
Luke might be all that but I don’t think that he is the best superhero. I always wanted to be flash. Not just because he has powers. It’s because he can be that role model type. He doesn’t use his powers for evil or for his own gain, but he uses it to help others that are in need. Now I might not have superpowers but I can still help others like he does.
Yeah, like has the force and a light saver, but he only uses it when he is in danger, not others. He might be the perfect character to be in everybody’s mouth when they are talking about the monomyth story. I essentially don’t really care about all those steps, I think it’s about doing the right thing for the right reason. That’s why I know who my monomyth role model is, that is who I wanted to be.
Even though the flash is awesome, uke skywalker is the more educaional and i am glad that they ha pick luke for this eassy because the story is so easy to follow and u can go home and watch it. if u actually think about it he dont even have powers, he is just a boy with a lightsaver. but if i had a choice to choose it would be flash.
