Actions & Misdeeds Lyrics by Asher Roth

The Greenhouse Effect Vol. 3

2021

[Intro: Joey O'Gorman]
Bad news abound
The students gather to discuss their options
Is the world of abundance out of reach?
[Skit: Harbyn, Tracee Shade & Ishaboipow]
Um guys, did you get the professor's message?
About him cancelling class? Yeah, I won't stress it
But indefinitely? I just wonder why
I don't know, he probably realized nobody really cared
Guys, I got this feeling, I'm just hoping that I'm wrong
I gotta get down to the greenhouse, y'all tagging along?
Of course I'm down, let's get going on the way
I mean did something happen?
Um, well, no one's gonna say?
Fine, I-hey, wait up!
[Verse: Ishaboipow, Harbyn, Tracee Shade & Code Will]
(Yo, no way)
What the-what's happened herе?
This place looks like it got ransacked by a wild bеar
Without being specific I heard a plot so delirious
But never imagined they could possibly be serious
Uh, hey guys, just to clarify the eeriness
The erroneous jabroni part of me just tweaked and schemed to turn the house for profit
Story short the federales peeped and sweeped
Now I’m not all that’s outta pocket
Wait, you did all this and left with no bread?
You must have a lot of rocks rattling in your head
I know, I know, messed up but have revelations
It was late with registration, need this class for graduation
Hey, what was the plan here? You kidding me?
That's the reason they tell people "Never shit where you eat"
And the fact that you standing here with no bud and no infraction
Got me guessing how much yapping you done did in the interaction with the police officer
(Let me explain, man) Time out, I ain't finished
And where your boy at? Surely there was an accomplice or a witness
'Cause it was more than one person, right?
Okay, okay, relax, I think there might be something that can save the semester
Maybe we can start our own grow-op with these plants as ancestors
You know Pow, well that make sense to me
So let's see if the professor has got what we need
Yeah, yeah, let's go, I swear I'll make up for my actions and misdeeds
You know what, I think I'm getting it now 'cause it's bigger than me
I thought most of professor's words were a figure of speech
But he was hitting us with gems and growing magic
And the way it makes y'all happy, then this class, we gotta have it
And I'm glad that you finally understand
But this grow as we know, well it could be out of hands and
You know, I just feel a bit rattled
But there's on thing on my mind, what about that bad apple?
[Outro: Ishaboipow]
Man, this isn't looking good
Come on, Prof, pick up the phone
Just pick it up, come on pick it up, pick it up
Hello, no one is available to take your call
