And at this point he had lost himself and no patrol was on the search

Work are getting annoyed, the deadlines met but he makes mistakes now
Other day put a glass to Tony’s throat, he’s been put on break now

Recalling the fear on the face of his kids when he balled a fist

Life, one night before bed, he made a cocktail, percs, ambien and meds for pain, it was not no

Roof blooded, fell out of bed, got up, walked, stumbled, thudded

This was it, as he fought to keep his eyes open, he simply couldn’t
As the room still saturated red, but slowly getting dimmer and dimmer
He realised this could be it, couldn’t move, he knew he’d been a sinner
His eyes opened again, ears don’t work, see’s his daughters crying
He couldn’t believe, 34 years on this planet for nothing, health declining
There’s no point learning from you mistakes when it’s already far too late
