I just graduated and got my diploma
God told me to make a change (for real)
I was a member at the Boys & Girls Club
So I applied for a job
Some of the kids, they already looked up to me
So I knew it was from God
I'll never forget watching most of you grow up in front of my eyes
Time really flies
So many memories always pop up in the back of my mind
But honestly, wish I could go back in time
And change a lot of what I did
So many things I regret that I really wish
I had a second chance to do it over again
I should have been focused on impacting more
Instead I was chasing for love
You live and you learn, I promise I didn't want to leave
But staying was hurting me worse (yeah)
I was really falling deep in depression, I needed to find an escape
(Yeah) Looking back now really leaves me in awe
When I see the impact that I made (yeah)

Yeah, 2014 was the year I decided to move, up to Lenoir City
Still had a chance and a passion to impact the youth
I couldn't refuse (nah)
I dedicated every ounce of my heart to making a change
I started creating a bond with the kids
That no one could break or even replace (yeah)
In 2016, I was overall Staff of the Year out of 400 staff (yeah)
I gave everything that I had
I loved all them kids, I swear that's a fact (for real)
I'll never forget all the memories, I'ma always hold them close
I promise that I will never let them go
