2024

Talk to 'em
[Pre-Chorus]
Talk to 'em , Talk to 'em , Talk to 'em
[Chorus]
Ayy, Tell 'em I’m tired of this 4 - 9, ayy
Tell 'em tired of these sins and I’m tired of these kids, Yuh
Im tired of this silver being handed in they hands
I dont like the way stuffin down upon my plans
Im just tryna paint a bigger picture but they blind to it
Im just sayin gotta find the right rhyme to it
And these boys is hitting homers to the den
But im just tryna hit him with this mic and with this pen
[Verse 1]
Boutta flip some tables with these verses
And i don’t really wanna talk to yall cuz it ain’t worth it
Cuz most of yall stay busy while you worship on yourselves
And im standing on this business like im peter, one of the twelve
[Whisper Verse 1] - 3rd person
"Did you hear Jacob raps?”
“I wonder how long that’ll last“
The whole class laughed
Now talk to 'em
[Verse 2]
I got people tryna turn me over till im heartless
But he took my heart of stone and put me in with a new purpose
And im ballin like im paul on number 3 i show em light
And im hittin in a switch like i was left he turned me right
[verse 3]
They say “Jacob, Jesus isn’t real bro”
But you ain’t know, you can’t see the air but you still breathing tho
My shows ain’t got a price, and i got kids who come and tell me Jesus Christ is worth they life, yuh
[Whisper Verse 2] - Other Ppl’s gossip
- a bunch of ppl whispering
That’s enough
“His mommy said hold on” (haha)
“Lets play his song out loud”
The boys all laughed on
Now talk to ‘em
[Verse 4](8 bars)
Yeah, she said so what ?
I started screaming out, while I was crashing out
My Kidneys given out, study ‘fore you start running your mouth
Yeah, did you even listen ?
I figured you didn’t, I should’ve never made it out
Now i got this music, I’m the whole talk of the town
Just a Kid rapping 'bout Jesus, Now that’s something to talk about
Oh, we just getting into character now
[Verse 5](Closing)
I hope you remember this
