That Boy Lyrics by Jade (R&B)

Jade To The Max

1992

[Intro]
That boy wants to get with me
And if this is a chance for better romance
Then I'll take it all
Bum, bum-bum, bum, bum-bum
Bum, bum-bum
Ooh
Hoo, yeah
Oh yeah
[Verse 1]
I've been thinkin' 'bout my baby
And how he looked when I saw him last night
He tried to talk me into stayin'
But I left before it felt too right
[Pre-Chorus]
In my heart there's a real good reason
Why I should give him my love
'Cause I'm with another guy and I know he's been cheatin'
If this is a chance for a better romance, then I'll take it
[Chorus]
That boy wants to get with me (A-get with me)
Tells me I've got everything he needs (Everything he needs)
That boy wants to get with me
Yes I got him, and I want him, but will he be good to me?
[Interlude]
(Bum, bum-bum) Yeah, yeah, yeah (Bum, bum-bum)
(Bum, bum-bum) Yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah
[Verse 2]
I'd like to give him all my lovin'
I hope it's true that he only needs me
And no matter how much I may want him
Our part-time love doesn't mean a thing to me
[Pre-Chorus]
In my heart there's a real good reason
Why I should give him my love
'Cause I'm with another guy and I know he's been cheatin'
If this is a chance for a better romance, then I'll take it
[Chorus]
That boy wants to get with me (A-get with me)
Tells me I've got everything he needs (Everything he needs)
That boy wants to get with me (I know I got him if I really want him, but will he be good to me?)
Yes I got him, and I want him, but will he be good to me? (That boy)
That boy wants to get with me (A-get with me)
Tells me I've got everything he needs (Ev-everything he needs)
That boy wants to get with me (Oh)
Yes I got him (I've got him), and I want him (Yes, I want him, but will he be good to me?)
[Interlude]
A-yeah, hoo
Know that-that boy
I know that I want him, I know that I got him, but will he be good to me?
[Chorus]
That boy wants to get with me (Get with me)
Tells me I've got everything he needs (In my heart)
That boy wants to get with me (A better romance, baby)
Yes I got him, and I want him, but will he be good to me?
That boy wants to get with me (Everything I need)
Tells me I've got everything he needs (That boy)
That boy wants to get with me
Yes I got him, and I want him, but will he be good to me? (Why should I, why should I give him my love?)
That boy wants to get with me (Oh, that boy)
Tells me I've got everything he needs (Everything he need)
That boy wants to get with me
