Challenge of Choosing You Lyrics by Jake & Shelby

Just Us

2024

[Intro]
Oh
[Verse 1]
Waiting for these clouds to move
Nothing else that we can do
You said to just be here for you
But it's just not that easy
When I'm tired
Stuck on borrowed time
I just can't sleep at night
I can't make up my mind
[Chorus]
But when you're open and it's honest
Love is growing in the garden
I get so high you make me feel like the sun is standing still
But when you're low you pull me harder
Nothing's glowing in the darkness
Oh, I'm just caught in the middle
There's nothing I can do
That's the challenge of choosing you (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
The challengе of choosing you (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
[Verse 2]
You always break and hit the ground
The pain is hard to swallow down
But you hold back and shut mе out
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be
Running circles on repeat
Lost in the passenger seat
And I can’t help that it hurts me
[Chorus]
But when you're open and it's honest
Love is growing in the garden
I get so high you make me feel like the sun is standing still
But when you're low you pull me harder
Nothing's glowing in the darkness
Oh, I'm just caught in the middle
There's nothing I can do
That's the challenge of choosing you (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
The challenge of choosing you (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
[Bridge]
It's weighing heavy on me
I'm thinking maybe this ain't what I need
Thought I was ready, but I can't breathe
So I keep on waiting, waiting, waiting
But that’s on me
[Chorus]
But when you're open and it's honest
Love is growing in the garden
Oh, I get so high you make me feel like the sun is standing still
But when you're low you pull me harder
Nothing's glowing in the darkness
Oh, I'm just caught in the middle
There's nothing I can do
That's the challenge of choosing you (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
The challenge of choosing you (Ooh-ooh-ooh)
