Dusthead Lyrics by Jason D. Morris

Poems for a Depressing Sun Storm

0

Go ahead, listen.
You can pick apart anything you please starting here.
Because this is fact which means it is now.
You say hip hop and the list you form is stagnant to me because
I’m a connoisseur and a digger of the art form you may not even believe me
When I reveal the stockpile encased in my sarcophagus.
Dr. Octagon couldn’t remove my Bazooka Tooth with Liquid Swords.
He couldn’t hit The Cold Vein or drive The Sanity Annex from my brash mind
With Shopping Carts Crashing into my Sunset Lodge that’s been corrupted,
Not by Deltron; but by these Typical Cats who praise a Binary Star.
Blazing Arrows and Jhelli Beams where more effective to me than ammunition
While I struggled along on this Junk Planet grasping it By The Throat,
Overcast.
Personal Journals was a megaphone for the silent voice in the back of my head
And it screamed:
“I am an Amethyst Rock Star!”
And then it mumbled:
“But just one left with Broken Speak.”
So I indulge in this affair, I’m active in my travels.
A byproduct of the Gothic Architecture and now fluent.
Happily, here I shall mull
Ensnared in the moment
With my fellow waste.
End.
