The Cavern Lyrics by JJeanne

Picture Poetry

2013

Nietzsche knew a cavern
When he said,
"And if thou gaze long into an abyss,
The abyss will also gaze into thee."

And The Stranger knew a cavern
When he said,
"Sometimes you eat the b(e)ar,
And sometimes the b(e)ar, well, he eats you."

Sometimes there is a stalactite
Sometimes there is a stalagmite --
One rapes you from below,
Like a man
The other from above,
Like a god.
