But Mom says I must wait awhile cause I'm only right next year
We'll go fishing on my birthday, and my friends will come along
And when the campfire is burning Dad will sing his troopie songs
And mom's not looking sad no more, cause the phone call came today
It was my troopie hero, and he says he's on his way
