Twistin’ Australia Way Lyrics by Johnny O’Keefe

Twistin’ With J. O’ K

1962

Everybody Twist!
They're twistin' in Sydney
Down in Melbourne too
They're wavin' in Darwin
They're twistin' to the Didgeridoo
So baby, get ready
Ima gonna twist with you
Round and round and up and down we go
Makin' with the shakin' to and fro'
From east to WA, don't you know they're
Twstin' Autralia Way
They're twistin' in Brisbane
In ol' Macdonaldtown
In Hobart, St. Hilda
They all go round and round
They're twistin' all over
So baby don't you put me down
Round and round and up and down we go
Makin' with the shakin' to and fro'
From east to WA, don't you know they're
Twstin' Autralia Way
Everybody Twist!
[Break]
They shimmey in Townsville
They shake in ol' Lismore
In Chatswood and Pymble
They're twistin' thе whole north shore
So baby, oh baby
Oh what are wе waitin' for
Round and round and up and down we go
Makin' with the shakin' to and fro'
From east to WA, don't you know they're
Twstin' Autralia Way
One more Twist!
