Light Lyrics by JohnTheBaptist (GA)

Welcome To The Kingdom

2022

One soul at a time
This for the Kingdom
[Hook]
From the trap to the church and the church to the trap I'm letting my light shine
Turn to God, cuz I know He's my lifeline
Got my light, and ain't nobody's like mine
Use my testimony for the therapy
I know that's the devil's getting scared of me
I was blind but now I got the clarity
We just gotta shine in solidarity
From the trap to the church and the church to the trap I'm letting my light shine
Turn to God, cuz I know He's my lifeline
Got my light, and ain't nobody's like mine
Use my testimony for the therapy
I know that's the devil's getting scared of me
I was blind but now I got the clarity
We just gotta shine in solidarity
[Verse]
I'm on a mission; this here my commitment
I'm spreading the Word 'till the day that I die
The world cannot give me what Jesus done gave me
Yea this is a love that nobody could buy
He been too good to me
I give Him the praise cuz I know He's Almighty on High
I was down bad in the past but the blessings He gave got me hot like Georgia in July
If you looked at my life you'd think I had it good
I promise that everything ain't as it seems
Thought my faith was strong but it had some cracks
And the devil he slipped through the seams
But God flipped the script now I'm living a dream
I'm starting to shine like an ultra light beam
I'm glad that I put on that jersey man Jesus put me on the team
Teaming up with the disciples if I see a demon I'm upping the rifle
Standing up tall like the Eiffel 66 toting license for the Bible
Up in the battle I'm fighting with Michael
Gotta praise Him; the way of the covenant
Surfing on blessings; it's coming in tidal
Ba da ba ba you know that I'm lovin' it
Standing on the rock we building the Kingdom you know the foundation
We got the church and the trap on lock
10 toes down can't ever be shaken
Now that I'm back on the path I'm getting everything back that the devil has taken
I got the light with me I'm making sure that I'm shining in every location
God, He gave us the light
