Standing on the Shoulders of Giants Lyrics by Johny Kramer

2020

S.ometime ago I heard the story about a man who could not see because of the darkness
T.hat himself and the voices existed in. Regardless
A.nd irrespective of the fact that finding things without light
N.early always is a hopeless plight
D.riven by tales of colossal prophesies determined
I.n spirit, determined
N.ot wavering he found his
G.iant. This is
O.nly known to a few
N.ow, myself the man and you
T.he man stepped upon his giants’ shoulder
H.e pushеd up the ceiling as it werе a heavy boulder
E.very inch of
S.trength moved that what was above
H.e peered beyond the stone wall
O.n knowing the truth, with light, he now could see it all
U.nder his feet. There was no giant
L.aying piled high, still and silent
D.ead bodies of those who came before
E.very one of them they’d seen what he saw
R.ealising this, he stood there and went
S.ilent
O.n went the passage of time, the ceiling slipped back into place as his life let go
F.or only now we understand there are no
GIANTS
