The bottle Lyrics by Jonny Muir

Portia

2021

[Verse 1]
I [?] my troubles in a bottle
To see them all at once
The bottle started shaking
But my mind was pretty calm
I warp the bottle in a jumper
That I never lied
It wrote itself back out
Though I wrote it very tight
I had the bottle [?]
So I picked it up
I wrestled with the lid
Until my hands were pretty numb
I stopped the bottle shaking with my feeble hands
And [?] in a shoe that seen it's better days
Now that the bottle is gone
I have nothing to worry about
The only thing to bother me is
If it got out, I sat besidе my sofa
To catch myself a breath
When I startеd thinking there was nothing in my head
[Verse 2]
Went outside walking just to fill the day
Saw a friend with a bottle, it was shaking just like mine
I had a bright idea to fetch that other shoe
Watch the bottle in there
Now the worries vanished too
It seems we all have troubles
We're not the only ones
It's nice to know a friend has something similar going on
We went inside to celebrate and get ourselves a juice
And kept our empty bottles, just in case for future use
I was looking inwards till I saw my friend
[Outro]
And we were into trouble, well will do this all again
Ahh,Ahh,Ahh,Ahh,Ahh,Ahh
When we we run into trouble, will do this all again(x2)
