I Go Back To You Lyrics by Josh Kerr

12/12

0

[Verse 1]
I've tried drinking, kissing brand-new lips
Tried going places that we've never been
I've told all my friends that we're just friends
But honestly, the only problem is
[Chorus]
Every time I listen to a love song
Every time I say I'm gonna move on
I go back to you, I go back to you
Every time I let somebody get close
Every time I swear I'm gonna let go
I go back to you, I go back to you
[Verse 2]
Spinnin' in a flower dress
In a Santa Monica sunset
Close my eyes, I'm holding you again
Yeah, I've triеd but I just can't forget
I can't forget
[Chorus]
Every timе I listen to a love song
Every time I say I'm gonna move on
I go back to you, I go back to you
Every time I let somebody get close
Every time I swear I'm gonna let go
I go back to you, I go back to you
[Post-Chorus]
Back to you, back to us
Back-seat kissing in the back of my truck
Back to that summer we were falling in love
Whatever I do, I go back to you
I go back to you
[Bridge]
Kissin' me, swearing that you'll never let go
Parking on the shoulder of a no-name road
Yeah, I see you everywhere that I go
Can't even turn on my radio 'cause
[Chorus]
Every time I listen to a love song
Every time I say I'm gonna move on
I go back to you, I go back to you
Every time I let somebody get close
Every time I swear I'm gonna let go
I go back to you, I go back to you
[Post-Chorus]
Back to you, back to us
Back-seat kissing in the back of my truck
Back to that summer we were falling in love
Whatever I do, I go back to you
I go back to you
