Challenge Me (Intro) Lyrics by Josh Smith

No Challenge 2: The Mixtape

2016

[Ending of “Do Ya Like III” plays in the background]
Friend: Yoooo, dawg, that project sick man! Respect, mad respect...
Josh: Oh thanks man, I appreciate it. It was fun putting together
Friend: Dawg, I feel like… I feel like I need more, ya know? Like I need more!
Josh: Whatchu mean?
Friend: I mean you need to do this again, but like… bigger!
Josh: Bigger?
Friend: Yeah man! Put out another tweet right now!
Josh: Um… I mean alright. Uh… What should I say?
Friend: Man, just say the same thing you did last time when you did the EP one. Just say something like that
Josh: Uh… Um… I mean shoot, uh [begins typing] I need twenty songs…
Friend: Dang! You about to do twenty songs?!
Josh: ...to spit over
Friend: You crazy, man...
Josh: Go!
Friend: Crazy…
[Phone notifications begin playing rapidly in the background]
Josh: Man, people blowing me up already…
Alfin: Yo, Josh! I gotta hear “Stainless”...
Cameron: Hit me with “Ms. Jackson”!
Cassie: Hey, Josh, you gotta do “Love Yourself”!
Giuliano: “Pusher Love Girl”, it's got a nice beat, and would make a good song to rap over…
Jalen: Not a big fan of Logic but that “Run It” track is pretty dope on his project…
Kaitlyn: Josh, you gotta throw on “Exchange” by my boy Bryson…
Marko: How ‘bout you do “Hello” by Adele…
Tiffany: “Halo” by Beyoncé…
Mikey: Do “Devil In A New Dress”!
Mary: Hey Josh, you remember that song by Biggie, “Flava In Ya Ear”?
Kaitlyn: Aye Josh, show me what you can do with a little “I Know” by Big Sean…
Tiffany: “Gravity” by John Mayer…
Ohsun: Hey Josh, do you think you can rap over “One Call Away” by Charlie Puth?
Mikey: “Tic Tac Toe” has got my favorite beat, I wanna hear you on that one…
Jalen: Yo, Josh…
Cameron: Yo, Josh…
Cassie: Hey, Josh!
Giuliano: Josh…
Alfin: Josh…
Kaitlyn: Josh…
Mary: Josh!
Ohsun: Josh…
Friend: Josh…
Josh: Alright! I'll do it…
Friend: Y'all think he's playing, he will do it, too...
