The Getting Through Lyrics by JUDAH.

3 + 7

2021

[Verse 1: JUDAH.]
Take me to my troubles
And teach me again
That you don't build a bridge
So I can just get over them
Take me to the waters
With my enemies close behind
I'll put my stake in the ground
Singing, "Waters be open wide"
[Chorus: JUDAH.]
'Cause maybe the point is not the getting over
But the getting through
'Cause when I say "open"
All of my trust is fully in You
Then the waters open and then close
When I gеt to the other side
And I'll look back at no bridgе
So my enemies can't follow behind
[Verse 2: Amanda Lindsey Cook]
Take me to my trials
And teach me again
My joy is waiting
At the other side of them
Take me to the waters
With my enemies close behind
And I'll be like Moses
"Waters be opened wide"
[Chorus: JUDAH.]
'Cause maybe the point is not the getting over
But the getting through
'Cause when I surrender
All of my trust is fully in You
Then the waters open and then close
When I get to the other side
And I'll look back at no bridge
So my enemies can't follow behind
[Bridge: Amanda Lindsey Cook and JUDAH.]
Hallelujah at troubled waters, You part the sea
Hallelujah when we walk through, You never leave
Then when we make it
We will run on to Your promise
Like a rainbow after the flood
After the flood
[Chorus: Amanda Lindsey Cook and JUDAH.]
'Cause maybe the point is not the getting over
But the getting through
'Cause when I say "open"
All of my life is dependent on You
And the waters open and then close
When I get to the other side
And I'll look back at no bridge
So my enemies can't follow behind
