Never Back Down Lyrics by Caleb Hyles, Judge & Jury

The Darkness Before The Dawn

2024

[Verse 1: Manafest & Caleb Hyles]
My heart's got goals in it, jeans got holes in them
Dirt gone rolled in it, my soul holding it
Make my mind up, ain't no controlling it
Got gold in it, you ain't owning it
Letting hatred and fear control our minds
I am wandering, lost in all the lies
Our echo chamber like a prison cell
[Chorus: Caleb Hyles]
So when the sky is falling
And you can't find solid ground
There's a voice that's calling
Head above the water, I will not drown
And I crave the silence
For the peace I've never found
God, hear me crying
Making me stronger, never back down
[Post-Chorus]
(Nеver back down)
[Verse 2: Caleb Hyles & Manafest]
Our generation's failing
Strugglе in the silence
One another and ourselves
(I'm unshakable)
I'm lost in time, I've crossed the line
Walking blind, I'm still alive
(No) I won't be left behind
[Chorus: Caleb Hyles]
So when the sky is falling
And you can't find solid ground
There's a voice that's calling
Head above the water, I will not drown
And I crave the silence
For the peace I've never found
God, hear me crying
Making me stronger, never back down
[Bridge: Caleb Hyles & Manafest]
Falling
(I won't back down)
Falling
(I won't back down)
[Chorus: Caleb Hyles & Manafest]
So when the sky is falling
And you can't find solid ground
There's a voice that's calling
Head above the water, I will not drown
And I crave the silence
For the peace I've never found
God, hear me crying
Making me stronger, I won't back down
I'll never back down
[Outro]
(Never back down)
I'll never back down
