Life is a Balance Lyrics by Larry Thomas Jr.

Larry The Legend

2020

Hook:
(For real) I think I just need some some time
Had to give myself a break to get a piece of mind
(Aye) I'm just tryna get it right
In a world thats full of dark
I'm tryna be the light
(Uh huh) I need some food up on my plate
I’m just tryna be the real in a world that’s full of fake
(Uh) I’ll never say it’s hard
But it’s a challenge
There’s good and there’s bad
Life’s a balance (for real)
Verse 1:
Since the beginning of time
There was a line
That was much more simple than thе ones I write in rhymes
But at thе same time they work together as a sign
Same sign, sign me up
It’s the blind leading the blind
Looking back I prolly blew your mind
With that last line
It’s a land mine lemme rap soft so I don’t blow mines
Do you know yo family history?
I don’t know mines
Do you have a family tree?
I’m tryna grow R
Mines
While we rushing to a football field or a hoop
Or running to a hair booth or a rap booth
How bout we put our pride and some time to the side
So we can really sit down and try to learn about our truth
Complaining how we’re over looked
But scared to open up a book
They be tryna gun us down
Cuz GOD let us over cook
Pick yo head up cuz you can’t blame that on yourself
But we still smoking so we out here messing up our health
Financially we’re ignorant and messing with our wealth
When you point the blame
It’s always 3 that’s pointing at yourself
That’s why we let our guns sing
That’s that stick talk
A gun ain’t never had me scared
But I guess that’s that big talk
That send a hit talk
To try to hit you in your tip top
And stop your tick tock
You either make your lip lock
Or take the zip lock
Out here running the streets
This ain’t for me i made a pit stop
So I can Change the chapter
Now I’m someone’s favorite rapper...
