“My name is Daniel Seavey and I play nine different instruments.” he said, smiling showing his tooth gap. As if they weren’t already whispering about him, he didn’t need to show off so much, geez! The whole class went until it got to me, I didn't talk out loud and the teacher knew that, when it was my turn I shook my head “no” at her, she looked at me sternly so I guess I had to. “My name is Adelaine Marie and I have a German Shepard named Coco.” I said quietly, everyonе heard me but it was still really quiеt. I look down instantly and stare at my paper, anxiously waiting for the teacher to start talking. The teacher starts, as I’m taking notes someone sits next to me, I assume it’s Daniel knowing that the only seat open was next to me. Mainly because no one likes sitting next to the quiet girl. I felt him looking down at me, I felt really weird and a bit uncomfortable, since I couldn’t talk at all for some reason, I just looked up at him. He looked away and back at his paper, the teacher gave us a problem to solve. He seemed to be struggling a bit, I’m not mean so I leaned toward him, “You need some help?” I whispered to him, smiling. He nodded, I turned toward him and explained what he had to do. As I’m explaining he just stares down at me, I wanted to know what he was thinking, but I can’t do that now. As he wrote down what I told him, the bell rang, I got up and looked at him in his beautiful ocean eyes, that glowed in the sunlight shining through the window. ‘Wow, she smells good!’ he thought. I couldn’t help but smile and blush a little, I waved at him and walked toward Chrissy still smiling. She had that look on her face, that “someone has a crush” look, I shook my head at her as we walked toward our locker, “I didn’t say anything!” she said, defensively. I looked at her and said quietly, “You didn’t have to.”
We went through the day like normal, the cheerleaders gossiping about Daniel Seavey, like there was anything special about him. After school I went to the locker room and changed into my practice outfit. Just a pair of Nike sports shorts and a tie dye shirt, I also brought a pair of running shoes to wear so I wouldn’t ruin my Air forces. I just finished changing when the entire cheer team walked into the locker room, I just left and went outside to stretch. They were having football tryouts for the next week, as I stretched I watched them, longing to be on that field the wind rushing on my face. The rest of the cheerleaders came outside and stretched with me, after about 5 minutes of that Christina comes and stands in front of us, “So, here’s what we go to do..” she said and started to explain everything we had to practice, I found it extremely easy, but everyone thought it was hard. I accidentally looked into Jennifer’s eyes for too long, ‘Why does she think she’s so perfect just because she can practice better!’ It even sounded snotty in her head. If you haven’t figured it out already, my secret is that I can read minds. I don’t ever do it on purpose unless I need too, which isn’t very often.
After an hour of practice Christina took me home. When I got home Coco ran toward me and jumped on me, licking my face and everything. “Do you want to play Coco?” I said in a voice you would use to talk to a baby. He barked, knowing what I said. I giggled, and ran toward my room to shower before we could play. It only took about 3 minutes before Coco started to claw at the bathroom door, waiting for me to hurry up. I washed my hair real quick so that he wouldn’t claw through the door, I finished and put on some leggings and an emerald green hoodie. I got dressed and opened the door, Coco practically attacked me, “I get it boy! Let me grab the ball!” I said, laughing. He got off me and I walked into my room, grabbing Coco’s favorite ball to play with. A football I got signed by Justin Herbert, my favorite football player, and the quarterback of the Los Angeles Chargers. Coco sat at my bedroom door waiting for me, when he saw the ball his tail started to shake, faster than normal. He started barking, running around, I bent down and started to rub behind his ears to calm him down. After a minute he ran away, hearing the door downstairs open I chased after him. When I got downstairs, Coco was on top of Daniel licking his face. Corbyn and all his friends were there. I was a little confused because Coco doesn’t like people that aren’t me.
