Understand It (Pon Da Phone) Lyrics by Kendra Foster

Kendra Foster

2016

[Chorus]
Close my eyes and try not to cry
‘Cause if U must leave, I’ll understand it
Close my eyes and try not to cry
‘Cause if U must leave, I’ll understand it
[Verse 1]
Would make it easier
If I knew the place U were comin’ from
Then I could make a move to relieve all the pressure and confusion
What am I confused about?
Lately I seem to doubt
‘Cause I can’t tell how U feel anymore
And an occasional rollin’ in the hay doesn’t say I love U enough
[Chous]
Close my eyes and try not to cry
‘Cause if U must leave I’ll understand it
Close my eyes and try not to cry
‘Cause if U must leave I’ll understand it
[Verse 2]
If U say u’re in love (still)
Then I would keep on waiting patiently until U are ready
Even if it takes a couple years
Even if it takes a hundred years (hundred)
Even if it takes a million years (takes a million years)
[Chorus]
Close my eyes and try not to cry
‘Cause if U must leave, I’ll understand it
Close my eyes and try not to cry
‘Cause if U must leave, I’ll understand it
