Distraught by Design Lyrics by IMakeMusic (Kenny Cree)

what’s going on (EP)

2022

I know you are lying
When you tell me you love me
Feels worse when you realise
It was coming from you
Agony fills me inside
Overwhelmed by the lies
From all the words you said
Cause they never made sense
I guess I don’t fucking care
But I don’t know if it is the right way to feel
When I caught you with another guy
Oh my god, you make me want to die
I guess I don’t fucking care
But I don’t know if it is the right way to feel
Cause I wanna be fine
But I am distraught by design
The things you told me
They were never true
You found my weakness
I never had a clue
This constant wave of dread
Now is making me feel mislead
Fatal lies, devastated remains
Reduced to nothing but flames
I guess I don’t fucking care
But I don’t know if it is the right way to feel
When I caught you with another guy
Oh my god, you make me want to die
I guess I don’t fucking care
But I don’t know if it is the right way to feel
Cause I wanna be fine
But I am distraught by design
What will it take to move on
Will I break down in the process
Is there a way to guarantee feeling alright
I guess I’ll never know
I guess I don’t fucking care
But I don’t know if it is the right way to feel
When I caught you with another guy
Oh my god, you make me want to die
I guess I don’t fucking care
But I don’t know if it is the right way to feel
Cause my head is breaking
In multiple ways
