Bad Day Away Lyrics by Kerry Badgley

The Infinity Machine

2016

[Verse]
When I get up
I throw both hands up and yell out
Today's gonna be
The best damn day of my whole life
And nothing's gonna bring me down
When I'm with you the skies are blue
And I feel brand new; we'll laugh all day
Because when you are here
There's nothing I fear
And together we will fade away
When you stand by me
You're my best friend
[Chorus]
And you'll come take this bad day away
For the moment
We'll wash the sands of time
Through the hour glass
And you'll come take this bad day away
For the distance
Scraping up your nickels and dimes
Put your hard times into a jar
And throw 'em in to the great abyss
[Verse]
Now, now, the times are changing
The moment's here for the taking
It feels so good
You make me wanna scream
Through the megaphone
That I finally found the one for me
Well, well, I'm in the middle
Of where I've been and where I'm going
It's a great day, because when you are here
There's nothing I fear
And together we will fade away
Hey, hey
When you stand by me
You're my best friend
[Chorus]
And you'll come take this bad day away
For the moment
We'll wash the sands of time
Through the hour glass
And you'll come take this bad day away
For the distance
Scraping up your nickels and dimes
Put your hard times into a jar
And throw 'em in to the great abyss
Yeah
Yeah
[Outro]
Come take this bad day away
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Come take this bad day away
