We Want Kevin Lyrics by Kevin Grands

One Up!

2018

[Intro]
One time, yeah
(Kevin got the heat)
[Verse]
Uh
Self praise, comparisons in they raps now
I been around, just been hanging in the background
Left alone, I took it upon myself, to do it like I'm the best
Skipped the test now I'm that sound
A couple of years in
Whoever thought the music put me on to the pure things?
Now Kevin got that real right flow, you know, sure things
I waited for a mighty long time, endurance, been yours since
You can never take love, we know kings
For real, if I never went harder, I grow sin
I feel, my standards too high to reach
When ideals revealed you stood by to preach, look
Now I never feel it
You make it look like you the man all about the business
I can't remind you what the plan was, initially was a fan
I don't know if you get it, belligerent as I am
Prowess, you show less of
It's all about what you're like, and, show that off
And I'm just looking for a different story
I gave 'em memoirs, all in the hopes of glory
Well that and fact that I'm feeling lonely
Solo up in my lane
If you claim it then let me see it, no magic like Davide Blaine
Oh you just glad that you allowed to say it?
I just think the idea of who is greatest is played out, happy belated
All gold flows you niggas only plated
Make the order I show you how to garnish and plate it
Your squad looking like a fucking play date
Check the time, I'ma stay popping and that's regardless of ages
Tell me what fame is
I know what my fate is
Newer chapters in history I'll show you my pages
Thoughts of you running it got a nigga up in a rage and
I wanna let it out, well that's being outrageous
See we tired of your local lines
We'd rather see elevation to undefined
But you prolly just waiting for different signs like Kevin to shift the game then claim, I guess we live in times
I thought about it in my twenty second
Never said it then maybe it was selfish effort
We gave 'em options, for you they took caution
Shade on your royalty, now we want Kevin
Yeah we want Kevin
Yeah
We gave 'em options, for you they took caution
Shade on your royalty, now we want Kevin
They said we want Kevin
Yeah
We gave 'em options, for you they took caution
Shade on your royalty, now we want Kevin
Yeah, yeah
And ID37 is the future, Lord
King
The most important chess piece, of which each player has one
Which the opponent has to check mate in order to win
The King can move in any direction, including diagonally
To any adjacent square that is not attacked by an opponent's piece or Pawn
