Teacher’s Pet Lyrics by Kevin (SA)

Love, Kevin: Class Captain

0

Verse 1
Have you ever ever ever been depressed so bad?
It was a struggle everyday not to regret your past
When every fucked up thing in life feel like it’s your bad
Waking up every morning either feeling sad or mad
But man, I gotta tell you that’s how shit is
“A lot black mans in the spot that you be in”
The voice told me as I made my way from school
I know it’s hard but fuck it you will always see your way through
You’re under budget and you wonder how the last line is true
A lot of stressing fills my brain
A lot of bullshit comes my way
So we niggas roll them blunts with hopes it helps us calm the pain
The strain, can’t even get away, from the Devil’s plan
My momma told me, “Don’t be comfy in the white man’s land
Won’t always be there baby to come help with all your bags”
The tears in my mother’s eyes always set me on fire
And all the years that go by without my dad by my side
Always questioning why
Why is it I’m alive?
With all the hardships that I’ve bumped to in my fairly short life
Made me wonder how a nigga today gets to survive
We are against the odds
Far less pros than more cons
Further drifting from God
Quickly shifting to guns
With lives lost everyday, now that’s lines a cliché
“Please behave boy!”
That’s what his momma would say
“You’re acting strange boy!”
That’s what his niggas would say
Because rage, controlled his thoughts, act and how he got paid
An “OG” he called himself, Urban Legend, his name
High School drop out, the ladies called him a lame
He been getting Straight As
But see the pressure took over now he’s joining the game
With homies next the road
The kind that never called home
Cause he was told, “If you’re bitching, nigga stay with the whores
We out for riches so we pleasing no nigga, hearts stay stone cold”
Went to a fucking deep sleep
Now let me share you his dream;
Over crowded with nightmares, homeboy fails to find peace
Under his jeans was a piece
Homeboy fails to stack green
But somehow he smoke that green
With that Devilish grin
From being the teacher’s pet
To being part of a gang
And now he got that step
And the gun to go BANG
From being the teacher’s pet
To being part of a gang
And now he got that step
And the gun to go BANG
From being the teacher’s pet
To being part of a gang
And now he got that step
And the gun to go BANG
