University Of Life Lyrics by Kevin (SA)

Love, Kevin: Class Captain

0

Verse 1
She had a long history with them gentlemen
Problem is, they weren't really been no gentle men
"Get on your knees, suck some dick and open up your legs"
That's what she used to hear, bullshit filling up her ears
Each and every year, the pain she could not bear
Fighting up her mom, they both got different views
Fighting to keep a job since she dropped out of school
Plus she don't know her Paps
She got a very dark secret
Her uncle touched her one weekend
She had a short skirt on, that's when this nigga got in it
She ain't planned this shit up
But baby girl's in too deep, she can't even get up
Saved up her profits so she could head up to college
But see, now she giving heads to them niggas who at college
She thought it'd be cool if one day she'd own her shit
But life is so cruel and Casey got a taste off of it
She promiced herself her kids would never get to follow, the steps she took, a Dollar they would never borrow
But being a sorrowful girl as Casey grew up
Her friends some-what foolled her and any chance they screwed up
"We go down, you come with" - Black Mentality
Can't run away from it like teenagers to puberty
You go out tonight and nigga this I promice you
And bunch of "Caseys" filled with make-up and some long hilled shoes
I make sure my niece ain't growing up to be no prostitude
Cause what you find is, the reasons that these girls give
"It was that horny bastard and fuck it I hate that dude"
Had major dreams to leave the hood and go make shit right
Now she like most, stuck up in the university of life
Hook
The university of life
The university of life
Now she like most, stuck up in the university of life
The university of life
The university of life
Now she like most, stuck up in the university of life
Verse 2
As time moved on
His stress grew long
Thinking and wondering what he gotta do to keep strong
Mad at himself, homeboy always be alone. His faith all gone doubt if there's really a God
It's hard for him to even go and pick up a phone. To call home, tell his brother the type of shit he's deep in
Cause see he knows, he won't bother, his family all crippled
His father doing life. His mother got no life
So you can see that his tunnel really ain't got no light
The niggas face all on the front page on his local times
"Oh Lord, was scaring him, I ain't want him to die. My hands soaked up for I have killed a man. Last thing the judge will do is tell me that he understand." He's lost his fam, mind and just lost his career
The cops got him now, "put them where I can see 'em"
Had major dreams to leave the hood and make shit right
Now he like most, stuck up in the university of life
Hook
The university of life
The university of life
Now she like most, stuck up in the university of life
The university of life
The university of life
Now she like most, stuck up in the university of life
