Hope You Notice Lyrics by Kid Fob

Better Now Than Never

2023

[Intro]
You know
All the times I done made mistakes, or done sum' wrong
I kept blaming everything but myself
You know what I'm saying
I never really got the chance to say I’m sorry
Never wanted to hurt you, hope you forgive me
[Chorus]
This love's not rented
I’ve been broken down just tryna fix the picture we painted
Still mad bout’ the past, can’t change it
I could never treat you basic
I could understand why it’s so hard to love a nigga
That’s been getting famous
Time’s changing, my heart still racing (heart's still racing)
When I saw how your eyes met with mine
I knew you was worth it
Say you’re tired of giving me all these tries
I know I ain’t perfect
Ain’t the type to make you think you wasted time
No you don’t deserve it
Gave you flowers and all the roses
I been trying
I hope you noticed
[Verse 1: Kid Fob]
I done dripped you in Dior
Had you stepping in double Cs
You stayed down when I was broke
Proud of me chasing my dreams
I really been left out in the cold
Wasn’t where I wanted to be
Peep how they wait on me to fold
Eyes closed, I couldn’t go to sleep
Mad when I been trapping out that spot
But this music shit ain’t cheap
So many times I told myself
Fuck it all, I’m off
But it’s too late, I fell in deep
Sheesh
Always been stuck to the ways of the streets, no velcro
Amiri laces wrapping all around my feet
I ball like Mike, ohh (Michael)
That G-20 insurance on me, protect my life, no Geico
Still locked in, like tight clothes
I been living on a tightrope
Yeah
And I've been wondering where’ll my life go
I've been wondering where'll my life go
[Chorus]
This love not rented
I’ve been broken down just tryna fix the picture we painted
I’m still mad bout’ the past, can’t change it
I could never treat you basic
I could understand why it’s so hard to love a nigga
That’s been getting famous
Time’s changing, my heart still racing (heart's still racing)
When I saw how your eyes met with mine
I knew you was worth it
Say you’re tired of giving me all these tries
I know I ain’t perfect
Ain’t the type to make you think you wasted time
No you don’t deserve it
Gave you flowers and all the roses
I been trying
I hope you noticed
[Outro]
I been trying
I hope you notice (hope you notice)
I been trying
I hope you noticed (hope you notice)
I been trying
I hope you notice
Hope you noticed (hope you notice)
Hope you notice
Hope you notice
I been trying
I hope you notice
Hope you notice
Hope you notice
