But it becomes a common noun if I say it’s just a country
Here’s a list of proper and common nouns
Let’s take a look at the differences in the person, place, or thing that’s found
A common noun would be the word “man” you see
But a specific and a proper noun when the man is called “Walt Disney.”
“mountain” is a non-specific place and a common noun I found
When the mountain’s called “Mount Everest” it’s specific and a proper noun
The word “dog” is a thing and a common noun I found
If you call the dog “Spot” it’s specific and a proper noun
