How Was Your Day? Lyrics by Kieara Potter

2018

Tell me why I still live with you again?
Why do I have to be your housekeeper? Fuck it, I´m sneaking a drink from the den
That's always open, to you and others
Tell me why this house is a mess
This house is a never ending garbage disposal, like Narnia, that you always put to the test
But overall I´ve had a shitty day
Enough about my day, let's talk about yours
Today was amazing, I caught you with your mistress
I caught you with your mistress
Today was great, I threw you out and missed our date
I threw you out and missed our date
This could’ve gone, some many ways
But this day, just HAD to be the same
I don't want to talk about my day
It was pretty bad, today
But then it started raining, and thunder was a waiting
You messed up with karma, she has decided your fate
But then your mistress got upset, punched you upon your chest
Kicked you where the sun don't shine, and said goodbye
And I closed the blinds
I have a question
How was your day?
How was your day?
How was your day?
It was Saturday morning
I´m happy that I couldn´t hear snoring
Today I didn't clean the house
That had been as quiet as a mouse
If I did It would probably reappear again
To be fair, clean was not my damn friend
But overall I had a great day
Enough about my day, let's talk about yours
I don't want to talk about my day
I was pretty bad, today
But then it started raining, and thunder was a waiting
You messed up with karma, she has decided your fate
But then your mistress got upset, punched you upon your chest
Kicked you where the sun sure as hell don't shine, and said goodbye
I have a question
How was your day?
How was your day?
How was your day?
I miss it, dearly, when you would say
How was your day?
It would brighten it up, from all the bad luck, but not everything
I never asked you, how was your day
Cause you would stop me, by kissing my neck
You can't save it this time
Now, How was your day?
I want to talk about my day
I was pretty bad, today
I dressed up nice ready to go out, I was a waiting
You messed up with me, I have decided your fate
But then your girl got upset, punched you upon your chest
Kicked you where the sun don't shine, and said goodbye
Cause you could care less, about are anniversary
So I'll ask you this one more time
How was your day?
