Sleeping Giant Lyrics by Kill The Alarm

Sleeping Giant

2016

[Intro]
Dare you to wake me up, dare you to wake me up
[Verse 1]
Damn this face I see in the glass in front of me
It's my dark side I try to hide looking back at me
He laughs at me
And he smiles like the devil
Swears like a sailor
Lights up another cigarette
Says that he owns me
Thinks that he knows me
But one thing he don't know just yet
[Chorus]
I'm a sleeping giant
I am a force of nature
I'm gonna come back to life now
Sooner or later
I hit harder than a hurricane
You got yourself to blame
If you wake this sleeping giant, oh
I dare you to wake me up
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
I dare you to wake me up
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
[Verse 2]
Tell me why you always gotta drag me down
Left a trail of broken hearts here on the ground, but that's over now
Could it be just another
Ghost in the cupboard
Next to a box of skeletons
Tear in an ocean
Drop in the bucket
Damned if I let you win again
[Chorus]
I'm a sleeping giant
I am a force of nature
I'm gonna come back to life now
Sooner or later
I hit harder than a hurricane
You got yourself to blame
If you wake this sleeping giant, oh
I dare you to wake me up
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
I dare you to wake me up
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
[Bridge]
If I were you I would run like hell, oh
If I were me I'd find myself
[Chorus]
A sleeping giant
I am a force of nature
I'm gonna come back to life now, sooner or later
I hit harder than a hurricane
You got yourself to blame
If you wake this sleeping giant, oh
I dare you to wake this sleeping giant, oh
I dare you to wake me up
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Dare you to wake me up
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Dare you to wake me up
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Dare you to wake me up
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Dare you to wake me up
(Dare you to wake me up)
