Monster Lyrics by Killa J

Caviar Dreams (Hosted by DJ Ill Will & DJ Rockstar)

[Hook: Killa J]
Yeah, can you feel the soul
Took the music out my mind and made it fill each row
Searched for so long now I'm on the trail to get rich
Then thought it out and maybe make the hate found to exist
And they've been asking am I ready, I'm prepared as it gets
The next up, and this hit, this is it
[Verse 1: Killa J]
I'm tryna put my city on, I gotta do my thing first
And I ain't have it that bad, but then it couldn't seem worse
It started as a dream, but the dream make the team work
We had a plan and followed it cause that's just how our team works
So now I'm doing shows swear it feel like it was yesterday
When I was down in Georgia but I moved away in 2nd grade
In other words time flew, had to step the grind up
Cause any given second I can blink and then my time's up
It's crazy when you think about it, yeah it's just reality
Since rapping's what I'm best at, a rapper's what I have to be
I mean, it just all makes sense, or am I trippin'?
Was I crazy for dropping hits when they wouldn't even listen?
Was I stupid for making music when DJ's wouldn't spin em'?
Was I done ? for just a bit of recognition?
I don't love the attention, I just love it when you listen
And will I make it ?, that's the public's decision
But I'm a Monster
[Hook: Killa J]
[Verse 2: Killa J]
Yeah, yeah, let's talk about poverty
A seven letter word describing something I ain't tryna see
But will I make it, probably
Yeah it's just the God in me
Cause you can learn robbery before you learn Socrates
That ain't how it gotta be, I just spit philosophy
I tell them how it is, never claim to be some prophecy
It makes sense, practice like a pro to be a prodigy
Ain't worried about the bandwagon, either way they ride with me
And I'm just trying to live out a dream, but I ain't sleeping
I just work, work, and work cause I'm hungry like I ain't eating
I mean whatever the reason I'm fiending to be the best
It's hard to be a winner (why?) cause it's easy to be the rest
I'm peaking I see the test
I'm eager to be it next
Hope my arms grow long cause I'm reaching out for success
I'm speaking out to the press and leaking what they suggest
Number one or I ain't satisfied, can't see me doing less
Cause I'm a Monster
[Hook: Killa J]
[Verse 3: Killa J]
Yeah I can sit back and tell lies saying nothing ever changed
But it did, so I can't do that
Gotta keep it real partner like you ain't knew that
And if you put me in the jungle watch I bring food back
And I ain't talking about a grocery
Ain't too many dope can see
Now he got the spotlight, but that's how it's supposed to be
Remember back then, my whole city wouldn't notice me
Now every time they hear my rhymes I guarantee they know it's me
I'm spitting out my poetry, now I'm about to snap on it
Immature beat, man I don't know how to act on it
Ima put my swag on it, Ima add my tag on it
Killa on the track, yeah we know we about to spaz on it
Ok, Ok, if ya'll ain't get the memo
With my pencil I got plenty fans and still ain't dropped a demo
And I'm hungry, so I'm eating, need another instrumental
They say I make it look easy, my reply is cause it's simple
I'm a Monster
[Hook: Killa J]
