Wish Upon a Star Lyrics by King NoFace

Death City

2019

[Verse]
I promise, I promise
I'll go far, I'm bein' honest
Although, many promises I've broke
So what's it worth it to you?
Let me know
This is for all of my homies way back home
That truly wanna grow
But get no love
We gon' make it one day, and that day is comin' up
Fuck whatever they say they do not know who we are
They just mad at themselves
They just mad at what they were dealt
I know it hurts like hell
The things that we felt
But we got the minds, to swallow our pride
Reach a hand and help
If they don't believe
We leave 'em, forreal
We growin' up, and shit is changin' I can tell
Light the fireworks, watch in awe as they blow
We gotta let go, the shit we keep ahold
Growth comes with loss
I thought you should know
Be honest with yourself
You know that you broke
You know you losin' hope
But we in it together we all go
When life gets shit, we still gon' act like kids
Lookin' at the stars, we all will make a wish
Smoking and drinking might bring us together
Make the moment of peace feel like forever
This is a letter
To whoever needs it
You can truly do it
Just keep believing
And you will find reasons, to keep on going
Dreams become reality just make a wish and hold it
