I will begin the preparation of the ritual. \n \n[Commander] \nThis batch: I need them all. \n \n[Priest] \nAll of them? Brother Commander, you are aware of our arrangement. You bring me men and after the turning we are each entitled to half of the resulting Watchmen. \n \n[Commander] \nI am building something. Something that will require many hands. I will need the totality of this batch if I am to lay siege to Fort Bastion on our intended timeline. \n \n[Priest] \nOh? And what is it that you’re building? \n \n[Commander] \nA weapon. \n \n[Priest] \nMm. And what of our Brother King? \n \n[Commander] \nHe has left the Eastern Quarter, heading North. He requires more time to fully awaken. \n \n[Priest] \nHm. It shall be as you say then, Brother Commander. \nYou may have this whole batch for your army. \n \n[Commander] \nThis is good. \n \n[Priest] \nBut I have one ask of you. \nWhen you lay siege to Fort Bastion, you are certain to take as many able-bodied men captive as is possible, yes? \n \n[Commander] \nYes. \n \n[Priest] \nAnd you will bring an end to all of the women and children? \n \n[Commander] \nOf course. \n \n[Priest] \nMy ask of you is this: spare the lives of the children and bring them unto me. I have been running some… experiments. \n \n[Commander] \nHmph. \nIt shall be so. \n \n[Priest] \nExcellent.
