All Christians are against you, we're just following what God says
Is this really what you assume?

People on both sides of this debate are raging like a typhoon

People call us homophobic ‘cause we disagree

They’re quick to judge us and the one who died on the tree

I’m referring to the ones that people actually complain about
Parents who kicked their gay child out of the house I’m talking to you
Westboro Baptist Church, you’re getting some criticism too
Being gay is a sin and people need to repent
But hate is also a sin, your lack of knowledge is apparent
Putting works over faith makes Christ’s sacrifice inadequate
You fail to express the love of the Son that was Heaven sent
Are we really on the right course?
We protest gay marriage but we don’t do the same for divorce
All sin is sin, one isn’t greater than the other
Yet Christians neglect the sin that separated me from my mother
It's people like you who make us all look like hypocrites
You claim Christ yet defame your neighbor and I'm sick of it
Your lack of love is really making me mad
Either quit hating or quit calling yourselves Christians, you're making us look bad!

Even if we disagree, why do both parties act like haters?
I’m not saying we should conform
Christ’s word will always be superior to the social norm
We’re only useful if we’re hot or cold, not lukewarm
But there is a way to call out sin and not be hurtful like a bad germ
Your sin is no worse than mine
Every act against the will of God is a crime
Yet God will offer us forgiveness every time
We come to him and say I surrender, my life is thine
