A New Day (Is On The Horizon) Lyrics by Last Summer

Last Summer (Anniversary Redux)

2020

[Verse One]
I feel the blood rushing through my veins
I'm ready to make the change
They keep telling me to stay in my lane
But it's screaming out my name
[Pre-Chorus]
It's our destiny
You're not separating family
We're beautiful together
And we can do it together
[Chorus]
A new day is on the horizon
A new day is on the horizon
[Verse Two]
My heart is racing the elements we're facing
It's got us pushing through the night
I feel the pressure, but when we come together
We'll journey to the morning light
[Pre-Chorus]
It's our destiny
You're not separating family
We're beautiful together
And we can do it together
[Chorus]
A new day is on the horizon
A new day is on the horizon
A new day is on the horizon
A new day is on the horizon
[Interlude]
Fall straight into the shadows of the depths of how we relate
Our body, our family, different parts but one and the same
Spiritual shame in me and it can't cause the love we have is different
It's safe to say
But nothing can stand in the way
Of the rising on the horizon
[Chorus]
A new day is on the horizon
A new day is on the horizon
A new day is on the horizon
A new day is on the horizon
[Outro]
A new day is on the horizon
A new day is on the horizon
