[Chorus: Shang High, Allyson Ezell] I’m looking ‘round Tryna see what’s next to do Might’ve got too drunk and then Forgot I even texted you Whatcha say? That don’t even resonate You don’t keep it real as me That’s probably why I don’t relate Anytime It could go the other way Why you think I’m busy (busy) Waitin’ on another day? They don’t know (know) What the fuck I’m goin’ through Got nothing but time but They don’t understand the point of you [Verse: Shang High] You don’t really need to be Going crazy Doin’ better lately California livin’ with my day-one homies Feelin’ like I finally lifted all this weight off from my shoulders You know this [Chorus: Shang High, Allyson Ezell] I’m looking ‘round Tryna see what’s next to do Might’ve (might’ve) drunk and then Forgot I even texted you Whatcha say? ‘Cause that don’t even resonate You don’t keep it (keep it keep keep it) Probably why I don’t relate Anytime It could go the other way Why you think I’m (think I’m gonna) Waitin’ on another day? They don’t know What the fuck I’m goin’ through Got nothing but time but (time but) Understand the point of you [Verse: Shang High] Start so young you just wanna get older Everything changed when the real life hits Remember when I didn’t understand my feelings but I never gave a damn Changed up quick, tables turned, I felt the burden, I just wanted me to fit in Not real soon, you don’t gotta be cool “being cool”—when you’re real I don’t really give a shit Had to get away from the trees and distraction My action is louder, I proved that I'm something Got much from nothin' But still I be comin’ Don’t come at me talking that shit like a bum You don’t know what it’s like Tried to be normal in life But I knew it would never be right to be Up in the classes [?] surpass us so fuck it I'm working, it's working, determined as fuck Had to get back to the ways Of relying on me and my gut Now what’s “what’s up?” When they see me, never said that before But they be like, “oh, you on the radio now?” “Tell me, how’s California?” Never would’ve checked up on you “See you’re putting out a new song and a solo Ayyy brotha” (what a coinkydink) I know you think of that line for me And if you was, then I’d agree Feels so refreshin’ to get back to knowin’ my focus And weed out the lame and the bogus You’re in that public You know who I’m poppin’ them bottles with If you were part of my team Livin’ the dream Smokin’ the green Our only [?] on my life as a king [Outro – Shang High (rap), Allyson Ezell (backing vocals)] I’m not complainin’ It’s just me, I’m stupid y’all I know Imma get it No there ain’t no other vertical No display No hatin’ from my side of things Life is slightly better But I just focus on the light it brings Anytime It could go the other way Why you think I’m busy I’m not waitin’ on another day? They don’t know What the fuck I’m goin’ through Got nothing but time but They don’t understand the point of you Point of you (Point of you) Point of you (Point of you) Point of you (Point of you) Point of you (Point of you)
