Honest Lyrics by Local EVRYWHR

Soundtrack to A Silent Film: Vol. I

2018

[Verse I]
How could you leave, how could you go
You said you'd be down then walked out the door
You went for a knife and tried to cut out my heart
Who knew that us getting closer would only tear us apart
We break up to make up, but this last one gon' prolly take us over the edge
Had so many laughs that I thought that we would last
Put our love to the test and I swore that we would pass
Oh shit, here you go again bringing up old shit
Why we argue by the ocean
Bring a nigga to his knees Derrick Rose shit
Clearly you ain't hearing me, but I still wish you were here with me
We too different, we too distant, lets try talking, see who listens
[Chorus]
But she just get in the way
I mean she so used to getting her way
That everything we going through just get in the way
And everything we had planned slipping away
X2
[Bridge]
I'm too honest
To someone who can't hold my weight in gold
Let alone there own
I'm too honest
To someone who's not as thorough
[Verse II]
How many times did we talk about how we don't talk enough
White lies when we talking now
White lines got your clothes off
You gon sniff it 'til your nose off
I'm fuck you till you dose off, you switching up and now you closed off
I know you lying, heaven knows all
Got damn what the earth
Heart broke once don't hit me where it hearts
[Break]
But sometimes you gotta understand bro, sometimes a good feeling is so familiar in sense of what God sends you -- and with what just the world has out here as a trap, that you get it confused. Not everything that's a good feeling is what God sent you
[Vamp]
Bad bitch, sit down
Stand up, get down
Pack it up, get out
Bad bitch, get down
X5
