The Arrival Lyrics by Lord GEM

The Closure

2018

Illgod, Lord GEM and Michael Excel
[Verse]
It was a regular day chilling with wifey at the crib
Having midnight convo, the things we always did
The next thing that a brother know, my heart beat sorta rose
One minute of chill, next minute her water broke
Zoom zoom fast and I'm packing all the valuables
It's 3 in the morning, and I'm dashing to the hospital..
Got to the spot, I'm looking for the doctor, Boo is having a baby right now
Is this logical? Or possible?
That lil nigga from, ikosi Ketu back then is bout to be poppa soon
Like wow, looking at my wife now, see the tears in her eyes, I'm trying to wipe out
Don't you worry baby girl, it's about to be done, I'm proud of that woman that you had to become
9 months, that's gotta be some
Level of God engineering, thank God that I married the one
Then she held my hand close, space and time froze, holding on to my damn clothes, contractions were close, like woah!
This about to be a major move, now its that time when she was rushed into the labour room
I was right there, every step, never left, making sure that I see my offspring heaven's breath
Next thing that I heard was PUSH! Oh my God it's about to come true like WOAHHHH
"yeah baby I got you","baby I got you", "I got you" "I'm right here" "I'm right here"
She cried, I cried. Men I couldn't contain
My emotion, I saw my baby girl in pain
With the thoughts in my brain, kinda hard to explain
I swear!! women are supernatural beings
Back to the story, holding wifey in bed
Then the next thing that we saw, the hommie out with his head
Then shoulders, arms, knees and legs
Crying out so loud, man the king is here
Hard to believe this, bruh I was speechless
I fell to my knees screaming out Thank you Jesus!
Really on my arms is the bundle of joy
The king is right here oh my God it's a boy
It's a boy
It's a boy
Oh my God it's a boy
The king is right here oh my God it's a boy
Really on my arms is the bundle of joy
The king is right here oh my God it's a boy
[Spoken Word]
Imagine the first time I clasped your hands inside mines
And pierced into your eyes searching for a glimpse of God
When I find Him, with a chest full of faith
I'll proudly say "in exchange for this blessing, I promise to raise a man"
