A dozen fled while the rest would rest in onyx beds
A lancer thrusts but I parry with my bastard sword
Buried steel into his knee, he screamed his ass off “lord”
But the lord wasn’t there in that opening
His horse had abandoned him and only death spoke to him
Wielding a mace in one hand and a blade in the other
I advance on the last of the them while making them shudder
As I thought, what transpired on this bloody day
Formed into more rumours since a few of them had got away
