NEW KID Lyrics by Louis Swagú

FEELINGS IN THE FIRE

2021

(Intro):
Let's go
That's the new kid type vibes, like new kid in class?
Yeah
(Chorus):
Look, I been the new kid since I stepped on
Since I came up I've been slept on
I'm JFK 'cause I don't got a vest on
Aim for the head for whenever I'm left on
Read, got a whole lotta homies who lit when they dead on
I shoot my shot and it's dead on
I'm really rocking the crown that they putting my head on
Now I won't ever get stepped on
They say thеy missed me
They pull up to takе some pics with me
And I hope they forgive me
'Cause I'm back and I'm better than ever
If I keep my head up
I might get my bread up
So maybe they look up at me
I'm popping off, no acne
But you coming with me
New kid on the block but I'm ready to conquer the streets
To conquer the beef!
(Verse 1):
No hesitation
Unleash the frustration
On every project the same stuff I'm saying
But this one is different, if you end up hating
You might just get chopped with the stick like an Asian
And I'm doing my same thing, but I'm evolving
"The mixing is better, but the rap is still awful"
They hittin my phone and every time I call up
They telling me I ain't good enough to follow
Same old, same old, I'm still a underdog
I hit the back of the class where they threw me on
I'm sitting in math, making plans of attack
Take the world by storm for all saying I'm wack
And of course I mean I'm gonna rap
I'm the new kid, "yeah, right, that's facts"
But if you say I'm bad that's cap
Like "he's so trash"
Knock off ya noggin for talking so stupid as that
All of these rappers be talking bout wraiths
And how all their diamonds still "drip like a lake"
That was me once, but it ain't me today
I'm a tell y'all bout how I'm underrated
And they really laugh at every single track
Like I ain't put about a month into that
And stacks on stacks couldn't buy a relapse
Cuz I be going to the top where I'm at
Man, that's, tough, but who cares 'bout that (Ha)
Back, it, up, let me get this cash, yuh
I count racks, just kidding I totally don't
That's all cap, but I'ma keep it a hundred for once
(Chorus):
Yeah, I been the new kid since I stepped on
Since I came up I've been slept on
I'm JFK 'cause I don't got a vest on
Aim for the head for whenever I'm left on
Read, got a whole lotta homies who lit when they dead on
I shoot my shot and it's dead on
I'm really rocking the crown that they putting my head on
Now I won't ever get stepped on
They say they missed me
They pull up to take some pics with me
And I hope they forgive me
'Cause I'm back and I'm better than ever
If I keep my head up
I might get my bread up
So maybe they look up at me
I'm popping off, no acne
But you coming with me
New kid on the block but I'm ready to conquer the streets
To conquer the beef!
(Verse 2 ):
Woo!
And I can spit this quick
Not a k, got a blank on my wrist
Shootin' shots, ain't one of em a swish
But I'ma drive to the hoop make a wish
Going by, I could speed along this
Take a ride, but I ain't got a four fifth
No demise, I be dishing out hits
And they lookin' at Louis like he never miss!
(Outro):
Woo! Yeah!
That's that new kid mentality righ there
That's that underdog type stuff, you know what I'm saying
Like it's the new kid, right? Yeah
