Connection Lyrics by Manicx_x

The Curve

2020

[Intro - Manicx_x]
Losing connections Nah that’s cold
Stay with the sunrise Keeps you gold
Finally living through the stuff I've been told
Never gets easy but easy is old
Losing connection Nah that’s cold
Stay with the sunrise Keeps you gold
Finally learning from the stuff I've been told
If it was easy then it would be old
[Verse 1 - Manicx_x]
Losing connections gain them again
Making corrections Life can amend
Always going through always being new
Trying to find myself with my friends
Never gonna lose when I’m with them
Yeah
Can never pretend
Always keep me grounded When egos extend
So know that I’ll never leave them
My mind runs fast away from myself
Yeah I need to get some help
Trapped alone with my thoughts can leave me struggling on step
But connections help me prep
Hard to come clean Hard to be seen
Leave it covered up like green screen
That’s me
A battle of my mind no winner
But when I got connections all those thoughts are like a boil that’s gone to a simmer
[Chorus]
Losing connection
Open up the plug, gotta tab on the fun
Send with a check and
Gotta lot a mail, I don't know where is from
Save with a message
When your down low, they gon have you on mind
Stop for a second
In a fight gotcha back, cos I know you got mine
[Verse 2 - Oli C-J]
Send this way
My part could never be slow, even when shock dart shock dart on their face
Got a for real but then when I'm back its attack, slow down like reverse on a camelback
Slow it down like a turtle but with a straw, maccys paper straw lookin like a diligent snack
Pound meal fries, it's a new diet between you and i
Take a chance to remember all of the good that we tried but a second for you to realise
all the good that was inside of you
Darkness hallow on the wind, do
Make a cake cover over all the sin, do
Yeah now sending peaceful living memories
From a place of anger to a sin, do
[Chorus]
Losing connections
Open up the plug, gotta tab on the fun
Send with a check and
Gotta lot a mail, I don't know where is from
Save with a message
When your down low, they gon have you on mind
Stop for a second
In a fight gotcha back, cos I know you got mine
[Verse 3 - Manicx_x]
Yeah
Feeling fresh
Never upset
You can never tear me down
With my friend's support, I’m always up next
Always Want it real not cold call texts
Too much instant can leave you with less
Swipe right not left Need more space not less
Got poor taste What’s left
Not more likes it’s dead
Just spend more time with them
Less posing more mems
You know that the world is waiting for us to come through with time to spend
[Chorus]
Losing connections
Open up the plug, gotta tab on the fun
Send with a check and
Gotta lot a mail, I don't know where is from
Save with a message
When your down low, they gon have you on mind
Stop for a second
In a fight gotcha back, cos I know you got mine
